As humans we need to recover and recycle as much old oil as we can, as the improper disposal of used oil has the potential to harm land, water, and infrastructure. As an example, a single car oil change can result in the creation of 4 to 5 litres of used oil. And if you can consider that one litre of oil can pollute up to one million litres of water, the magnitude and size of this potential environmental problem will soon become apparent.
